We’re all sinners—but we have a Savior.
We’re all sinners. To sin means to break a commandment, or to cross a line; and this sin separates us from God. But the Bible delivers good news: “For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son, and whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Jesus died to save us from sin, “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).But what does it mean to believe in Him?It means to put your faith in Him, your trust in Him.This is not about religion. This is about a relationship with Christ Himself, who says in John 14:6, “‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.’”He also says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in. . .” (Revelation 3:20). Are you ready to open the door? If so, pray the following prayer.
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess You as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. Amen.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)
